‘Forbidden Waters’

Our LOCAL leaders intend to appear as interveners—as has MLA Weaver—Unless the interveners are ARMED WITH SOME ‘HARD’ ,WORLD CLASS , COUNTER EVIDENCE ’ how will the NEB be able to make an objective recommendation to Cabinet ?—
Until the Ottawa ,world class spill clean-up methods , are field proven ,BC must insist that the entire idea of allowing , behemoth bitumen laden tankers in our narrow, busy, island bound waters ,is FORBIDDEN !!

I remain concerned that the NEB did not permit interveners to appear with the EPA associated shipping risk analysis …which deals significantly with southern BC waters ?—they applied too late ?? Should the NEB be ‘FIXED” ?

Yes— FORBIDDEN !—There is a better bitumen ship loading terminal location that gives Alberta access to world markets and yet offers minimum probability of bitumen spills in our tourist rich ,environmentally sensitive waters and shores—The NEB can now offer recommendation ‘Condition 210’ …”Enbridge and KM to form a combined pipeline system from Alberta to Port Simpson” and leave the concerned BC public in a better mood—-prior to the ultimate NEB ,the National Election Ballot ,come October 2015 .
